The city of Greater Noida is situated in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district of northern cities and states of Uttar Pradesh. It is a Part of the National capital region and is located at a distance of 48 km from Delhi, the national capital of India. Greater Noida is the part of NCR region and is one of the rapidly developing cities in the region. The geographical landscape encapsulates of 364sq km in area and is divided into various sectors. 1. SURAJPUR BIRD SANCTUARY

Spreading over an area of around 3.5sq km, the sanctuary is a place to visit and is house to many birdwatching and nature enthusiasts. The sanctuary also contains a man-made lake which was created in 1980. The sanctuary contains 200 species of birds that migratory birds visit during the winter season. The sanctuary also provides a species of reptiles and mammals. Many animals like monitor lizards, Indian Jackals, and porcupines are in the sanctuary. The park is open to visitors throughout the year. The best time to visit is between November and March. There are many picnic spots and is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

2. CITY PARK

The popular public park is located in Greater Noida and spreads over 39 acres of lush-green and well-maintained lawns with beautiful landscapes. The park serves several walking and jogging tracks which is a popular destination among fitness enthusiasts. The park contains a beautiful lake and also provides an ideal destination for family outings and get-togethers. The park is home to many species of fish and birds and has boat rides to facilitate the scenic beauty of the park. The best time to visit the city park is between October and March.
